FAQs

what is the wiggle?

the wiggle is a place for moms to connect, care, and grow.

the wiggle is a private community and is only accessible via a personalized onboarding experience that follows sign up. the wiggle offers community members first and foremost, their village. tangibly, that looks like access to one another via slack, monthly momtail hours, experiential classes, a weekly email newsletter, recommended products and resources, and more.

the wiggle has been intentionally designed to fit into and work with your busy mom life. that means show up when you can and not when you can’t. no mom guilt accepted. in saying that, our hope is that all wiggle mamas are able and want to make space to show up, share, engage, and play with us.

what happens when i join?

moms are welcomed to the wiggle with an invitation to our private slack group. you will be specifically added to channels and groups based on where you are in motherhood, pregnancy, and geographic location. resources, recordings, class options, activities, etc will also be shared with you, including enrollment in our weekly newsletter, the shimmy. you will also be added to a private group of moms who had or are having their babe’s close to the same time as you.

no matter when you join, you’ll have easy access to other moms with kiddos your kiddo’s age, in addition to moms with kids older than yours, and younger. our belief is that we all need to help each other navigate the wiggle of parenthood, one high, one low, one squiggle at a time.

who is the wiggle for?

any woman at any point in her parenting journey.

when is the best time to join?

anytime! but more specifically, the ideal time to join is once you are pregnant and open to talking about it. we believe there’s a ton of value in community and support when you’re pregnant. the earlier you join your tribe, the better.

what do you mean by community?

community is and will forever be the foundation of the wiggle. first and foremost, we’re a connected group of humans. community is our lifeline. we are the sum of our individual parts as people, as women, as moms. the wiggle is the good, the not as good, the hard, the awesome, the bleh, and the rad of all of us all mushed into one. we are not the same as we were yesterday, nor will we be who and what we are today, tomorrow. we’re there when you need us, and also when you don’t. we’re not into trauma bonding, though we’re here for that too. rather, we aspire to change the narrative and help moms and moms-to-be to connect and navigate the wiggly peaks and valleys that come with parenting - together. because it takes a village - and here we are.

what is a momtail hour?

a momtail hour is a time each month to connect with other wiggle mamas. members can come as they are, dressed up or down, pumping or with toddler in lap. they generally last one hour, are often themed, and can include guest speakers or experience sharers. we encourage members to come when they can and lead with openness, vulnerability, and respect.

does it cost to join?

nope! being a member of the wiggle is free of charge. some classes and special events do come with associated fees. these are communicated proactively and transparently.

is the wiggle virtual?

as of now, the wiggle is 100% virtual. while our members live all across the country, most live on the west coast in san diego, los angeles, and in the bay area. we believe in connection and tribe - period. physical location should never be a barrier to making meaningful connections.

the wiggle will always operate virtually, though when safe, we can’t wait to encourage moms who live close to one another to connect IRL. when you join, you will be added to a private group based on your geographic location. in the future, we hope to have area based gatherings to connect in person.

do you have anything for partners?

not yet but it’s part of the plan! we believe getting partners involved early is hugely important and fun for the whole family. we have discussed the immense value in partner specific classes and/or involving partners in birth prep and forth trimester classes if you are interested in learning more about this, please contact us.
