you and your family are invited to a toddler valentine’s park party! we’re calling it love day and it’s to give our weeble wobbles a chance to deliver and receive some love notes.
here’s how this is gonna go down:
before the event:
make or buy a ‘mailbox’ for your kiddo to receive valentines. put his or her name on it.
buy some valentines. here is an amazon list of recs to make this easy
the day of the event:
bring your kid(s), partner, friends, and valentines + box to the park
the kids will line up their boxes and we’ll encourage them deliver each other valentines.
if your kiddo isn’t ready to do this solo yet, not to worry. you can walk, talk, carry them through it. there are no age restrictions to this activity.
we will have other activities set up including a teeny tiny yoga class (we’ll see how this goes, ha), bubbles, and more.
i’ll have some safe, health-in-mind kid friendly treats ready as well but please bring your own stuff too!
after the event:
take your kiddo(s) home and go through their valentine’s box with them.
order some heart shaped noodles or a heart shaped waffle maker and have a happy vday.
important things to know:
please (as age possible) be vaccinated and boosted if you are planning on attending
please do not attend with any sign of sickness or any potential covid exposure
please no candy in valentines. see this list for some creative non candy options.
